The Parish of Letheringham is a small village nestled in the heart of East Suffolk Countryside.

Letheringham is designated as being in the "Open Countryside" in the Suffolk Coastal Development Plan (adopted Sep 2020, Policy SCLP3.2).

Letheringham Parish Council is an East Suffolk Council consultee for all planning applications within the Parish. With an OPEN DOOR approach, we welcome any applicants to contact us to discuss their relevant proposals or applications.

The Parish Council will endeavour to discuss all pertinent planning applications at council meetings and may from time to time submit a a response to East Suffolk Council. Applicants and anyone interested are encouraged to attend Parish Council meetings where the opportunity is open to applicants and members of the public present to comment.
